Metro Transit Sales (MTS) is owned and operated by Tony Cunnane, a 40-year veteran of the public transit industry, also with experience in the motorcoach industry and now venturing into the rail industry.

MTS specializes in offering market penetration strategies for products used in the transportation industry that provide innovation and value-add to end-users. MTS offers a focus on strategies for both new products and existing products which require an increase in their market presence.

The Metro Transit Sales team consists of veteran transit professionals who regularly visit transit agencies and share information on our newest products as well as continued education on all products we represent. The MTS team attends major industry trade shows to ensure high visibility of the products we represent.

Tony Cunnane

OWNER AND CEO OF METRO TRANSIT SALES, INC.

For the past 10 years, Tony has been the owner and CEO of MTS. Prior to that, he owned and operated TCB Industries, a successful manufacturing business that made LED lighting systems, luggage racks, parcel racks, and stanchions for the transit Industry. Tony began his career in the transportation industry by spending 25 years in Fleet Maintenance, Research & Development, New Bus Procurement, and Warranty with the New York City Transit Authority. Tony brings a proven track record of developing, producing, and marketing innovative products for the public transit market.

Terrel Smith

VICE PRESIDENT OF NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, METRO TRANSIT SALES, INC.

Terrel Smith is Vice President of New Business Development for MTS. He comes to the firm with several years in public transit product sales, bringing the expertise, product knowledge and leadership abilities to provide exceptional service and support to the industry. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in communications and ethnic studies.

A 45-year veteran of the public transit business, Milo worked and managed at LA Metro, WMATA, and most recently as CEO of OMNI Trans in San Bernardino CA

SOUTHWEST REPRESENTATIVE

A transit industry veteran of many years, Mike is the co-owner of TransitGuard which has developed many of the products currently represented by Metro Transit Sales.
